What they
actually say.

Real students, real living rooms, real progress. The setting is wherever they are. What carries through is what the body learned to do.

Student transformation grid — multiple students showing progress over 28 days, December 2022 to April 2023
Day 1 → Day 28

The change is
measurable.

Most students don't believe they can change their body until they see it happen. So we document it. Photos from day one. Photos from week four. Photos from month six. Same person. Same camera angle. Different body.

Jacqueline 老师跟不同之处是,她除了教瑜伽动作,也很深层的让我了解每个动作的意义和秘诀… 只为了预防老化过程很多人都遇见的满身硬化疼痛。感恩这个缘分。

What's different about Teacher Jacqueline: she doesn't just teach the poses — she helps you deeply understand what every movement actually means, and the secret behind it. I just want to keep going, layer by layer, so I can avoid the body-wide stiffness so many people get with age. Grateful for this connection.

从没想过瑜伽可以上网课学。多年前新学过瑜伽的我,但从来没有过这次的感受。Jacqueline 老师非常耐心,讲解也很清晰且到位… 老师眼力真的好好,通过镜头就能帮助大家调整姿势。

I never imagined yoga could be taught online. I'd done yoga years ago but I'd never felt this. Teacher Jacqueline is so patient, her explanations clear and precise — and her eye through the camera is incredible. She can correct postures even through video. This truly changed what I thought yoga was.

老师不只是教动作而已,是会很清楚地分析每个动作的目的。当我们觉得那个动作辛时,老师会教我们如何调整… 在这短短的几堂课里,我获益良多。

The teacher doesn't just teach the movements — she clearly breaks down the purpose of every action. When we find a pose difficult, she shows us how to adjust, what to use, how to align. She constantly stresses that proper engagement is everything. In just these few classes, I've gained so much.

老师很有耐心,都会很注意每个学生的姿势或动作对还是不对。确保每一个学生做到的步骤而不会拉伤… 也没有想过在 Zoom 都可以学到这么多。感恩可以遇到这样的老师。希望看到不一样的自己。

She's patient. She watches every student's posture — making sure every step is done right, that nobody gets pulled or injured. After my Sun Salutation lesson my whole body ached — but the next morning, my energy was completely different. I never thought I could learn this much over Zoom. So grateful to have found a teacher like this. Hoping to see a different self.

Why this matters
"I don't just teach yoga — I teach people how to understand and heal their own body."

— Dr. Jacqueline Yun

Practice in progress

The proof
is on the mat.

The shoulder that couldn't lift past chest height. The hips that felt locked in position for years. These are the things students come in describing, and they're also what tends to shift first. Often within a few weeks, and always with something measurable to show for it. A photo from the first month looks different from one taken at six months. That difference is not dramatic; it is structural, and it is yours.

A note on the photos Most of these photos were taken mid-class, from home setups, on regular cameras. They are shown here as they were taken. The point was never the image; it was who showed up.
Before you start

Questions students ask.

I am not flexible at all. Can I still do yoga with you?

Yes, and you are probably more typical of the students here than you think. Stiffness is almost always a joint-mobility issue first. The classes work on restoring the range of motion your joints are supposed to have, not the range a flexible person already has. Most people who arrive feeling stiff notice measurable change within the first few weeks.

I am recovering from an injury. Is it safe to join?

It depends on the injury, which is exactly why I would want to speak with you before you join a group class. Many students here came post-physio, post-surgery, or mid-recovery from something chronic. What helps is understanding your body's current limits precisely, then working within them and gradually past them. A short conversation before you start makes all the difference.

I barely have time for a regular workout. Will I be able to keep up with a practice?

The group classes run 60 to 75 minutes, twice or more a week. Whether that fits your schedule is the honest question to answer first. What most time-pressed students find is that the practice starts doing visible work on their day-to-day body. Less tension at the desk, better sleep. That tends to make it easier to keep showing up. But the time commitment is real; I would rather you come knowing that.

I have never done yoga before. Where do I start?

The first session is the answer to that question. You do not need any background, just a mat and enough space to stretch both arms out. I teach with anatomy in mind, so you understand what a cue is actually doing rather than following a shape. Most beginners find the explanations make the movement click faster than they expected.

Can yoga actually help with a chronic condition like scoliosis or persistent back pain?

For scoliosis specifically, yoga cannot reverse the curve, but it can meaningfully reduce the muscle fatigue and joint compression that make scoliosis painful to live with day to day. For general back pain, much of what people experience comes from how load is distributed across the spine, and that is something a structurally-grounded practice can address over time. I work with both regularly. The work is slow and cumulative, and it tends to hold.
